Mile 34 The Third Big Steel Bridge

The line runs on the west bank of the Copper River from Bridge 28A to Bridge 34A, where it crosses again to the east bank. Bridge 34A, the Hot Cake Bridge, had three 175 foot spans and a long pile approach trestle.



The train on the approach trestle appears to be a photographer's special behind a 20 class Alco 2-8-0.
